General observer visits 5 polling booths

Leh, May 2, 2024: General Observer, G-23761, B H Talati visited five polling booths and randomly checked polling station buildings in 01-Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency along with Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO),Kharu today on May 2.

The polling stations that the General Observer visited were Middle School Tagar, Council Model School, Sakti, Middle School, Piu, Primary School, Kharu and Middle School, Chemday.

He also paid a visit to Hemis and Thiksay monastery and interacted with the monks regarding election related issues and highlighted the importance of election to the monks.

Additionaly, he interacted with the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) regarding election preparedness. Furthermore, the SVEEP programme was organised at Kharu & Sakti village.
