General Observer visits Bani to review Election preparations
KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 13: General Observer for 63-Bani Assembly Constituency and 64-Billawar Assembly Constituencies Aisha Masrat Khanam, visited Bani today to oversee the scrutiny process and election preparedness for the Assembly Election.
The Observer reviewed the routine operations of the election staff in the RO office. She also visited the venue where polling staff for the upcoming elections.
The General Observer also inspected the strong room for the 63-Bani Assembly Constituency to assess the security measures in place for safeguarding the election materials. She emphasized the importance of stringent security protocols and directed the RO to further strengthen the arrangements.
Before concluding her visit, she instructed the RO to launch an extensive voter awareness campaign under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative to ensure maximum voter participation.
Returning Officer, 63-Bani Assembly Constituency Giasul Haq, and Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) Predhyum Attri were present during the visit.
