General observer visits Mahore, Dharmari to oversee staff training, review preparations for home voting
REASI, SEPTEMBER 17: General Observer for AC-56 Gulabgarh (ST) Saroj Kumar Sethi today visited Mahore to review home voting and training program in Dharmari Area of Reasi. The visit further focused on ensuring adherence to Election Commission of India guidelines in the course of the electoral process.
During the visit, the Observer emphasised on reviewing current training protocols and observing the home voting process to ensure compliance with established standards and best practices. He stressed on identifying the areas for improvement, enhancing voter experience, and reinforcing the effectiveness of election training programs.
In addition to overseeing election preparations, the General Observer also visited some remote areas, located in the Mahore, as part of his efforts to ensure a thorough review of the electoral arrangements in the region.
General Observer highlighted that every vote counts and every voter is well-informed is crucial to a transparent and effective electoral system.
