General Observer Visits Polling Stations in AC 87-Thannamandi to review Compliance to ECI Guidelines
RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 7: In continuation to the ongoing inspection exercise, General Observer 87-Thannamandi Assembly Constituency (AC), Tikam Chand Bohra visited to several polling stations to ensure that all facilities meet the Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) criteria as mandated by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The General Observer inspected Polling Station Ujhan D, GHSS Dhandkote, GHSS Nadian, Girls Hr. Sec School Darhal, and Govt. Middle School Darhal. His visit aimed to ensure that each polling station is well-equipped with essential facilities, including proper accessibility, water, electricity, ramps, and other necessary amenities to guarantee a smooth voting process for the upcoming Assembly Election 2024
Later, Bohra visited the Flying Squad Team (FST) Naka at Iqbal Gate Darhal to review its functioning and preparedness. He emphasized the importance of strict enforcement of election laws and monitoring of election-related activities to ensure free and fair elections in the constituency.
The inspection exercise will continue to ensure that all polling stations across the 87-Thannamandi AC are fully prepared and meet the required standards.
