Geological Survey of India organized Swachhata hi Sewa at Nubra
Nubra, October 1, 2024: The Geological Survey of India (GSI) organized the Swachhta Hi Sewa (SHS) programme today at the SDM Office conference hall under the Swachh Bharat Mission campaign.
The event was graced by Secretary of Mines Government of India Shri V.L Kanthe Rao, who served as the Chief Guest. Brigadier Himanshu Hatkar Commander 102 Infantry Brigade, Shri Tashi Jorgais In-charge SDM, Shri Meraj Giri SHO Nubra, along with several army and civil officers and students participated in the programme.
During the programme, a pledge was taken by all the participants along with the guests. The Geological Survey of India also displayed different types of fossils, crystals and stones on display for the participants. The programme highlighted the ongoing commitment to cleanliness and hygiene as part of the national mission to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
