GMC Srinagar celebrates 76th Republic Day with enthusiasm
SRINAGAR, JANUARY: The Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, along with its associated hospitals, today celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great zeal and patriotic fervor.
The event commenced with Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan Shah, Principal/ Dean of GMC Srinagar, unfurling the National Flag at the college premises.
The celebration witnessed the presence of dignitaries, including Heads of Departments, the Medical Chief Accounts Officer, Academic Registrar, Superintendents of Associated Hospitals, Administrative Officer, Personnel Officer, Deputy Medical Superintendents, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Resident Medical Officer (RMO), paramedical staff, ministerial staff, and other officials.
In her address, Prof. Dr. Iffat extended warm greetings to all attendees and expressed her heartfelt gratitude for their unwavering dedication to the institution and its mission. She lauded the relentless efforts of the staff in enhancing healthcare services and their exceptional resilience in navigating challenges, especially during critical times.
Similarly, the National Flag was unfurled across all associated hospitals by their respective Medical Superintendents. These ceremonies were marked by a shared spirit of enthusiasm, unity, and patriotism.
The event concluded on a high note with a collective pledge to uphold the values of dedication, service, and excellence while striving for further advancements in healthcare services.
