GOC 19 Infantry Division Major Gen Ajay Chandpuri lays wreath at Dagger War Memorial in Baramulla on Army Day

BARAMULLA Jan 15: GOC of the Army’s 19 Infantry Division, Major General Ajay Chandpuri laid a wreath at Dagger War Memorial in Baramulla on the occasion of Army Day.

On this occasion, we had the wreath laying wherein we paid homage to Bravehearts of Dagger Division, who laid down their lives in the service of the nation. We also resolve to continue the rich tradition & legacy of Indian Army in service of our nation: Major Gen Ajay Chandpuria.

Things are under control. It comes every year. We will also take adequate precautions and we are well prepared both from the operational as well as logistical point of view said Major Gen Ajay Chandpuria, GOC, 19 Infantry Division when asked about situation at LOC during this winter (ANI)
