GOI Prabhari officer of Viksit Bharat Yatra, DC Budgam distribute Commercial Vehicles amongst beneficiaries of Mumkin scheme in Budgam
BUDGAM, JANUARY 13: To facilitate youth to establish sustainable livelihoods in the transport sector, commercial vehicles were today distributed among the unemployed youth of the district under the Mumkin scheme of Mission Youth programme at DC Office Budgam.
Prabhari Officer Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Mushtaq Ahmed, Director Ministry of Mines GoI & Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo in presence of SSP Budgam Tahir Gillani & other senior officials handed over keys to Mumkin scheme beneficiaries of the District.
Mumkin scheme under the Mission Youth programme is implemented by Employment and Counselling Centres at District level to provide sustainable livelihood to the unemployed youth of UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Under the Scheme, commercial vehicles are provided to the unemployed youth of J&K with the total 20 percent subsidy of the on-road price provided jointly by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and Vehicle Manufacturers.
Till date 182 cases have been disbursed under Mumkin scheme in District Budgam. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the district administration by providing them a good source of livelihood under Mumkin Scheme.
Other officers who were present on the occasion included CPO, CMO, XENs from different engineering wings and other District and Sectoral officers.
