Gold futures almost flat at Rs 71,600/10 g

New Delhi, Sep 2 (PTI) Gold prices on Monday remained almost flat at Rs 71,600 per 10 grams in the futures trade.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery declined by Rs 11, or 0.02 per cent, to trade almost flat at Rs 71,600 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 15,959 lots.

Analysts attributed gold prices marginally weak amid subdued global market.

Globally, gold prices went down by 0.16 per cent to USD 2,531.60 per ounce in New York.
