Gold futures fall on low demand
New Delhi, May 24 (PTI) Gold prices on Wednesday fell Rs 29 to Rs 60,168 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for June delivery traded lower by Rs 29 or 0.05 per cent at Rs 60,168 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 7,927 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to the trimming of positions by participants.
Globally, gold was trading marginally lower at USD 1,992.60 per ounce in New York.
