Gold futures gain Rs 138 to Rs 59,295/10 grams
New Delhi, Jun 20 (PTI) Gold prices on Tuesday increased Rs 138 to Rs 59,295 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for August delivery traded higher by Rs 138 or 0.23 per cent at Rs 59,295 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 13,699 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to the rise in gold prices, analysts said.
Globally, gold was trading 0.33 per cent lower at USD 1,964.70 per ounce in New York.
