Good Governance Week and National Gender Campaign observed at CHC Skurbuchan

Leh, Dec 21: In continuation to the observation of Good Governance Week 2022 under the nationwide campaign of Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur and the month-long celebration of National Gender Campaign 2022, a programme/camp centered on good governance and elimination of gender-based violence was held today at Community Health Centre, Skurbuchan in the presence of Chairperson BDC, Skurbuchan, Tashi Yangskit

Child Development Project Officer, Khaltse apprised the gathered public along with the PRI members about the importance of gender equality, gender-based rights and the need for elimination of gender-based violence and the mechanism/provisions and schemes available for the victims. Block Medical Officer, Skurbuchan spoke about health issues, especially relating to women.

Similarly, Naib Tehsildar and the concerned officers/officials from all the line departments also briefed about the various departmental schemes and projects. 

The camp also delivered various services, including Resident Certificates, Health IDs, Golden Card registration, etc as a means to improve service delivery and to redress public grievances.
