Government Medical College Jammu and Associated Hospitals celebrates 77 years of Independence Day
GMC Jammu and Associated Hospitals organised a programmes on Independence Day.
JAMMU, August 15: Dr Ashutosh Gupta, Principal and Dean, Government Medical College unfurled the tricolour at GMC Jammu. He highlighted the sacrifices of national heroes during the freedom struggle.
He also recounted numerous developmental projects and works undertaken in the hospital and said that the hospital administration is trying its best to take GMC Jammu on the glorious path of development and prosperity for people.
The programme was followed by various cultural items and distribution of felicitation awards.
Programme was attended by all the HoDs, Administrator AHs, faculty and staff of GMC Jammu.

Independence Day was celebrated in SMGS hospital, Psychiatric Hospital, Chest and Disease Hospital, Bone and Joint Hospital, Boys Hostel GMC Jammu and Girls Hostel GMC Jammu.
In SMGS Hospital the tricolour was hoisted by HoD Pediatrics and Medical Superintendent.
In Psychiatric Hospital the tricolour was unfurled by HoD Psychiatry and Medical Superintendent.
In Superspecialty Hospital the tricolour was unfurled by HoDs from various departments and Medical Superintendent.
In Chest and Disease Hospital the tricolour was hoisted by HoD CD &TB and Medical Superintendent.
In MCH Gandhi Nagar the tricolour was hoisted by HoD Obst.& Gynaecology and Medical Superintendent.
In Bone and Joint Hospital the tricolour was hoisted by HoD orthopedics and Medical Superintendent.
In Boys and Girls Hostel the flag was hoisted by Dr Ashutosh Gupta, Principal and Dean Government Medical College Jammu.
