Govt miserably failed to provide basic amenities: Rajni Bala

Initiates renovation & improvement work of bathroom at Paloura Talab Ward No 60

JAMMU: The lack of basic amenities under the present dispensation resulting in the deprivation of fundamental rights of people of Jammu region.

This was stated by Rajni Bala, Corporator of Ward No 60 after starting the renovation and improvement work of the bathroom at Paloura Talab Ward No 60 for Mohallah Paroch, Moh Panchayat Ghar, Mohallah Sandh, and other areas near Paloura Talab of Ward No 38. The event was attended by prominent individuals, including Dr Chander Mohan Sharma (Vice President DCC), Tarun Vaid (General Secretary DCC), Somnath Sharma, Kanta Devi, Balbir Singh Chib, Ramash Singh, and others.

Expressing her concerns, Rajni Bala highlighted the acute shortage of regular drinking water and electricity faced by the people. She emphasized that the people are subjected to discrimination due to the government’s failure to address their basic needs.
Rajni Bala further stressed the belief that only the Congress party can fulfill the wishes and aspirations of the people. She called upon the people to strengthen the hands of the Congress Party for the equitable development of the Jammu region.

Later, Corporator Rajni Bala also visited Upper Paloura, accompanied by PHE staff, to assess the leakage points from the water supply pipes. She directed the officials to promptly fix the leakages and ensure the provision of pure drinking water to the residents of the area. Shahbaj Ahmad, Parveen Akhtar, and local individuals also accompanied the Corporator during this visit.

Rajni Bala believed that through the collective efforts of the Congress Party and the support of the community, Jammu’s development can be achieved.
