Govt Polytechnic Reasi organises colouful cultural program

REASI, August 10: The Government Polytechnic, Reasi organized a cultural program as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and weeklong “MERI MAATI MERA DESH” campaign.  The day started with paying of tributes to the Veers and viranganas who have made the supreme sacrifice for the country. Later, the Principal Er.Vinay Gupta, staff and students took PANCH PRAN pledge. The Principal, while interpreting the Panch Pran Pledge, said that the main objective is to inspire one and all to become best citizens of the country, strengthen unity, respect those who protect the country, celebrate our heritage, remove any trace of colonial mindset and make India developed and self-reliant.

Students also illuminated Diyas and paid tribute to the valiant heroes wholeheartedly. The sweet smell of motherland was in the air. Everybody was deeply involved in the color of Maati and Tiranga.

“There is nothing nobler than risking your life for your country.”

 Another colour of unity was seen in the cultural dance items presented by the students to remember the people behind the scene.

The event was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Govt. Polytechnic College, Reasi – Er. Vinay Gupta & coordinated by Ajay Dogra (Secretary Sports and Co-curricular activities, Government Polytechnic , Reasi), Vandana,  Nisha,  Meenakshi, Ms .Sonika,  Veena and  Deepak Sharma and Mr. Sunil Kumar.
