Govt providing housing to non-locals to destroy Dogra culture, won’t beg for Assembly elections in J&K: Dr Farooq Abdullah
Jammu-Kashmir National Conference (NC) President and MP Dr Farooq Abdullah in a press conference at Jammu said that the G-20 meeting should have been held in Jammu along with Kashmir and UT Ladakh.
He said that non-local migrants are being given accommodation in Jammu and Kashmir and this will destroy the Dogra culture. He said that no BJP leader is talking about this.
He expressed grief over the Poonch attack and stated that due to the lack of bulletproof vehicles, the soldiers lost their lives. He said the situation in Jammu and Kashmir did not improve even after the abrogation of Article 370.
On the claims of former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik, he said why this incident was not prevented. He expressed delight over the holding of Panchayat elections in Jammu and Kashmir and said that it is a good thing as something is happening on the floor.
On the conduct of assembly elections, he was not bothered about the assembly elections and will not beg for elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
