Grand culmination of Water Heritage Fortnight celebrations held at Ancient Temple (Sanyasar Nag) Ladhoo Pulwama
PULWAMA, NOVEMBER 30: In a momentous event, the District Administration Pulwama, in collaboration with the Jal Shakti Department and the Archaeological Department, orchestrated a grand ceremony at the Ancient Temple (Sanyasar Nag) to mark the culmination of the Water Heritage Fortnight celebrations from November 15 to November 30, 2023.
The occasion witnessed active participation from students representing various schools, dedicated members of Pani Samiti, and members of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs).
The highlight of the event was a compelling series of discussions emphasizing the critical significance of preserving and conserving water heritage structures.
Speakers including students, heads of Pani Samiti, PRIs, and the Project Manager of District Project Management Unit (DPMU), shared enlightening insights on the imperative need for safeguarding our water heritage.
