Guar seed futures decline amid ample supplies

New Delhi, Aug 5 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 98 to Rs 5,359 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for August delivery fell Rs 98 or 1.83 per cent to Rs 5,359 per quintal with an open interest of 26,175 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
