Habitual cheater charge-sheeted for luring, defrauding for Govt job

JAMMU, October 28: Economic Offences Wing – Crime Branch Jammu produced 166 page charge-sheet in case FIR No. 60/2023 U/S 420 RPC P/S Crime Branch Jammu in the Court of law against accused Vicky Dogra S/o Tarseem Lal R/o Ward No. 05, H.No. 19, Bishnah Jammu for inducing complainant with the promise of managing Govt. job for complainant against monetary considerations and ultimately duping him of his hard earned money. The accused is a notorious habitual criminal and cheating innocent people, particularly the unemployed youth with false promise of arranging Govt jobs.

Brief facts of the case are a written complaint was lodged by complainant – Parma Nand S/o Kaka Ram R/o Chhan Arorian Tehsil Hiranagar District Kathua wherein he alleged that he came into contact with accused Vicky Kumar Dogra who induced him that he would get him a loan of Rs 25.00 lakh sanctioned under the Kisan Resource Centre Scheme (KRC) and Rs 15 Lakhs under NGO Scheme and in case he failed to provide the loan then would manage Government job for the accused against monetary considerations. He ultimately cheated him and other innocent people by
providing fake orders of Government Jobs.

On receipt of the complaint, a preliminary verification was initiated and the allegations were prima-facie established and subsequently, the instant case was registered for in-depth investigation. During investigation – Oral, documentary and circumstantial evidence were gathered and it was found that accused Vicky Dogra allured and duped complainant and numerous other unemployed youth on the false promise of arranging them Govt. Jobs. The, offences u/s 420/ /RPC have been established and proved against the accused and charge- sheet has been produced in the Court of law for judicial determination. The accused is habitual and notorious cheater involved in criminal cases registered against him in Crime Branch Jammu in which he has defrauded unemployed youth too of their hard earned money.
