Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen mourns the demise of Senior NC leader Ghulam Nabi Shaheen

Srinagar, 22 April: Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen, President of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) and former minister, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Ghulam Nabi Shaheen, a senior leader of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference and father of state spokesperson Sara Hayat Shah

In his condolence message, Hakeem described the late Ghulam Nabi Shaheen as a respected political figure who dedicated his life to the service of the people and played a key role in shaping public discourse in the region.

“His contribution to the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir, especially in strengthening democratic values and promoting dialogue, will always be remembered,” Hakeem said.

He further extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, especially Sara Hayat Shah, praying for courage and strength during this difficult time. “The loss is not just personal but a collective one for all who valued wisdom, humility, and sincere public service,” he added.

Hakeem prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and offered solidarity with the grieving family.
