Hand Holding Session with various stakeholders of JJM held at Reasi
REASI, May 12: A session was held at the Conference Hall in the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Reasi to provide guidance and support to various stakeholders involved in the Jal Jeevan Mission. The session was chaired by Babila Rakwal, who serves as both the Chairperson of the District Jal Jeevan Mission and the Deputy Commissioner of Reasi. Attendees included members of Pani Samities and Panchayati Raj Institutions, as well as Asha workers, Anganwari Workers and other stakeholders.
Project Management Consultant, Sajal Srivastava discussed various aspects of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), including the role of Panchayati Raj Institutions and Pani Samitis in implementing JJM and ensuring Har Ghar Jal. He also discussed the certification of Har Ghar Jal villages and the testing of water samples from each household.
Sarpanch, Dubri Mohr and other members of Panchayati Raj Institutions spoke about ongoing works under JJM and the functioning of Pani Samitis in their respective areas.
Others present at the meeting included Superintending Engineer, Rakesh Kumar Mahajan; Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Executive Engineers with staff District Project Management Unit, Information Security Advisors and Third-Party Inspectors.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks presented by the member Secretary of Jal Jeevan Mission.
