“Har Ghar Dhyan” Campaign Marks a Momentous Meditation Event at Central University of Jammu

JAMMU, 1 September 2023: The Office of the Dean Students Welfare at the Central University of Jammu (CUJ), under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, organized a transformative event as part of the “Har Ghar Dhyan” campaign.”Har Ghar Dhyan” is a nationwide campaign initiated by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, in collaboration with the Art of Living Foundation.

The program aims to promote the practice of meditation as a means to enhance mental and emotional well-being, aligning with the ideals of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The event organized at CUJ aimed to promote mindfulness and meditation as integral components of a balanced and harmonious life.

The event featured distinguished meditation coaches from the Art of Living Foundation, Mr. Ritvik Mahajan and Mr. Sunny Sharma, as resource persons. They conducted an interactive session that shed light on the significance of living in the present moment and incorporating meditation into daily life.

The “Har Ghar Dhyan” event drew an enthusiastic audience comprising students, scholars, and faculty members from the university. Attendees were deeply engaged and appreciative of the event’s informative and transformative content.

Dr. Bharti Gupta, the Meditation Ambassador of the Central University of Jammu, played a pivotal role in coordinating the event and provided valuable insights into the significance of the event.
