Hari Singh unfurls National Flag in Jammu North Assembly segment

JAMMU, January 27: The 74th Republic Day was celebrated in Jammu North Assembly segment with great zeal, enthusiasm and traditional gaiety.

The National Flag was hoisted by Hari Singh Chib, President District Congress Committee Jammu Rural, in presence of Block President Pata Paloura, party workers and prominent persons of the Jammu North Assembly segment followed by the National Anthem.

Speaking on the occasion, Hari Singh Chib greeted the people on the occasion of 74th Republic Day and paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters. He also reminded them of the supreme sacrifices made by the leaders of the freedom struggle of the country.

Hari Singh Chib made an appeal to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to maintain peace, amity and brotherhood in J&K at all costs and also cautioned the people to remain vigilant from anti-national elements who are trying to create wedge between the communities.
