Haryana: “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans raised on Congress stages, says Amit Shah
Gurugram (Haryana) [India], September 29 (ANI): Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on Congress, claiming that he has been seeing a new trend of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans being raised on Congress stages.
Addressing a public rally in Badshapur, Haryana. “I am seeing a new trend in Haryana. From Hathin to Thansesar and from Thansesar to Palwal, slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ are being raised on Congress stages,”
Hitting out at Rahul Gandhi, he asked the Lok Sabha LoP on why his party leaders are raising such slogans and why he is quiet on this matter.
“I want to ask Rahul Gandhi that when the leaders and workers of your party are raising the slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, why are you quiet? The Congress is blinded by appeasement. Tell me people of Badhsapur, Is Kashmir ours or not? Should Article 370 have been removed or not? Congress and Rahul Baba say that they will bring Article 370 back,” he said.
He further said that Congress wants to bring back the flag of Kashmir into the region, “Even the three generations of Rahul Gandhi cannot bring Article 370 back. Kashmir is ours. They want to bring back Kashmir’s flag. Till the time Modi government is there, there will be only one flag in Kashmir, our tricolour and nothing else.
“The youth of Haryana has given a lot of sacrifices for protecting Kashmir and we will not let that go in vain,” he added.
Speaking on the benefits given by the BJP-led Haryana government to the people, he said that the state government has given around 2.5 lakh people job opportunities.
“When BJP government came to power, we gave job opportunities to 2.5 lakh people. There is no need for any middlemen for this. During the time of Congress, if you wanted to get a job then you had to give a bribe. Their men used to come to ask for a bribe. When BJP came to power, we just took Rs 51 shagun and gave employment certificates,” he said.
Amit Shah further assured the people that if the BJP comes to power in the state again, then 5 lakh people will be getting employment.
“If you make BJP come to power again, then we will give 5 lakh people employment opportunities without the need to give a bribe,” he added.
Haryana goes to the polls on October 5 to elect a 90-member state legislative assembly to form its next government, with the counting set to take place on October 8. In 2019, the BJP emerged as the single-largest party with 40 seats. Congress won 30 seats.
