“Heads of our soldiers were lopped off before 2014”: MP CM Mohan Yadav praises PM Modi
Sidhi (Madhya Pradesh) [India], April 12 (ANI): Coming out in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday invoked the country’s muscular response to external threats, saying before the BJP-led NDA came to power at the Centre in 2014, the heads of soldiers were ‘lopped off’ by terrorists from across the border.
Addressing a public meeting in the Siddhi district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, CM Yadav said, “You voted for Modi-ji for the first time in 2014 and have since realised the importance of electing him to the office of the prime minister. Before Modi-ji assumed office in 2014, the heads of our soldiers were lopped off by terrorists from across the border (in Pakistan).”
Taking aim at the Congress, he said, “The Congress-led government in Delhi at the time did nothing. Soldiers work on the orders of the government. However, the Congress did not have the power to give orders to the soldiers to respond and strike back. Bombs used to go off routinely in Delhi and Mumbai back in the day, under the Congress rule.”
“However, today, we have a government under the leadership of Modi-ji. He had once said ‘once you vote, leave the development of the state to me’. This can happen only under the BJP.
Yadav likened PM Modi’s crackdown on graft and his way of meeting the country’s external challenges and threats to Lord Krishna waging a ‘Dharma Yudh’ against injustice, atrocities, and misgovernance.
“No matter how powerful the enemy is, God always watches over and protects the one who follows the path of morality and truth. India is being hailed in the world today for what we call our Sanatan culture,” he said.
Hitting out at the Congress further, he said they neither had the courage nor the political will to implement the Supreme Court’s decision on triple talaq. Congress looks at Hindus and Muslims through the prism of votes, Yadab said.
“It was in our rule, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi that a decision was taken to build a Ram Temple on the ruins of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. The Congress said that there would be riots in the country. However, after the landmark verdict by the Supreme Court, we raised the Ram Temple and enthroned Ram Lalla at his rightful place in Ayodhya,” the CM said.
“Let us all resolve together that in the coming elections, on April 19, every vote will be cast in favour of the BJP,” he added.
