Health and Empowerment Soar in Ramban District: Over 3300 Ayushman Cards Issued, 15,580 Screened for TB during VBSY
RAMBAN, JANUARY 04: The transformative Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has achieved significant milestones in Ramban District by providing varied Services to the public.
Since its inception on November 28, the yatra facilitated issuance of 3,308 new PM-JAY Ayushman Cards, ensuring better healthcare accessibility to the residents.
As part of the Poshan Abhiyan camps organised in course of the yatra, 3,562 individuals underwent anemia tests.
The Health Department also conducted TB screenings, reaching out to a commendable 15,580 individuals, emphasizing a comprehensive commitment to public health.
Furthermore, the Agriculture Department issued 1,721 KCC cards to farmers, reinforcing the government’s commitment towards support agriculture and the rural economy.
The success of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra extends beyond numbers, fostering community engagement and youth participation. Local youth actively engaged in sports activities and pledged their commitment to makt India a developed country by 2047.
During the Yatra, participants were urged to avail the benefits of various centrally sponsored schemes, emphasizing self-employment opportunities and job-oriented programs. The community’s active involvement was acknowledged by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Zaheer Abbas Bhat and CEO Municipal Council Ramban, Sudarshan Jamwal, who expressed gratitude for their contributions to ongoing projects in Ramban town.
