Incessant rains have wreaked havoc on the Sangaldan to Kanthan Road via Barakund, causing extensive damage along a 5-kilometer stretch.

The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Gool was issued an alert in response to the situation. The concerned authorities have been assigned the responsibility of initiating repair and restoration measures promptly, as confirmed in a Tweet by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Ramban.

The relentless rains have taken a toll on the road infrastructure, leading to significant deterioration along the affected 5-kilometer segment.
