Helpage India organises one-day specialized medical camp

Leh, Jan 15, 2024: Helpage India organised a medical camp for elders at community hall of Housing Colony, Leh on January 14 marking a significant initiative in healthcare outreach.

The camp witnessed the diligent efforts of five specialists – orthopaedic, ENT, urologist, physician, and ophthalmologist who collectively conducted thorough health checkups for more than 200 patients.

The inauguration of the camp was graced by the presence of Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Diskit Dolma.

CMO, Dr. Dolma in her address, expressed sincere commendation for Helpage India’s commitment in organizing such dedicated healthcare initiatives, especially tailored for the elderly. She pointed the significance of these camps in addressing the healthcare needs of the elderly age group.

Additionally, Dr. Dolma expressed gratitude and anticipation for continued collaboration with Helpage India, extending support for future endeavours aimed at providing essential medical services to the elderly community.
