SSP Reasi, Mohita Sharma, highlighted the multi-pronged approach Reasi Police is taking to tackle drug abuse. This includes public awareness programs alongside active prosecution of drug peddlers under the NDPS Act. An Anti-Drug Helpline (9070907017) has also been established, where callers can anonymously report drug-related activities.
SSP Sharma issued a stern warning to drug peddlers, stating there is “no space” for them in Reasi. She urged them to abandon this path and return to society or face strict legal consequences.
