H&H Deptt Kulgam distributes Tool Kits & Equipment to 30 Namdha Artisans

KULGAM, AUGUST 09: The Handicrafts & Handloom Department Kulgam organized a distribution camp at DIC Complex Kulgam here during which Tool kits and equipment to Namdha Artisans of the District were distributed.


It was informed that 30 tool kits were received from the Directorate of Sheep Husbandry Department Kashmir for the revival of the wool based cottage industry in the District.


Each artisan received 02 numbers of canvas tarpaulin, 01 number of Gumboots, 01 number of aluminum Pot, 01 number of Table & 01 number of Sprinklers.
These Tool kits have been distributed among 30 Namdha Artisans in presence of Assistant Director Handicrafts & Handloom Kulgam, District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kulgam and Departmental Officers at District Handicraft Office Kulgam.


On the occasion, AD Handicrafts Kulgam, Sheikh Hemayun briefed the artisans to work with great enthusiasm for the revival of the wool based cottage industry and earn livelihood.


The District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kulgam, Dr Zubair Qabali also briefed the artisans and assured that their Department will provide them a path to get wool from the Sheep breeders. He also briefed them about various schemes of the Department.
