High Level Deputation meets Ex Minister Babu Rampaul

JAMMU February 1: High-level delegation led by Shyam Lal Mehra (Vice Chairman OBC/SC cell of National Conference) and Zonal Vice-president JKNC and Prem Kumar Block President (Hiranagar) and others today met Babu Rampaul, former Minister and President Central Zone JKNC who apprised him with various problems being faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir like unemployment of educated youth, skyrocketing prices of essential commodities and restoration of Statehood etc.

Babu Rampal gave a patient hearing to the grievances raised by the delegation and assured them to take necessary steps for redressing their grievances.

Babu Ram Pal also called upon the Party cadre to gear up party activities at the gross root level and prepare themselves for coming panchayat/local body elections as well as Assembly election.

He also urged party workers, particularly youth, to get ready for an untiring struggle to restore democracy in Jammu and Kashmir, which is awfully missing here in JK.

Stressing the need to rise to the occasion for strengthening the hands of the National Conference, Babu Rampal reiterated that it is necessary to restore strong opposition to fight out the anti people policies of the present Government in power.
