Hindi Diwas Celebrated at Kathua District Library: Hindi Book Exhibition and Kavi Sammelan Organized
KATHUA, September 14: In an effort to promote the Hindi language, the District Library Kathua today organized a vibrant Hindi book exhibition and Kavi Sammelan. The event saw enthusiastic participation from readers, noted writers, social activists, journalists, and scholars.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Anna Jamwal, Tehsildar Nagri KAS, in the presence of distinguished citizens and dignitaries such as Cdr Amit Khajuria, Baldev Raj Bhagat, Madan Mangotra, and Sham Lal Sharma. Sunil Sharma, Librarian of the District Library, briefed attendees about the program and highlighted the history and significance of Hindi.
The Kavi Sammelan featured poets like Cdr Amit Khajuria, Vijay Sharma, Sham Lal Khajuria, Mosami Bhagat, and others, who mesmerized the audience with their heartfelt recitations, encouraging everyone to embrace Hindi.
Chief guest Anna Jamwal lauded the library’s efforts and emphasized the importance of Hindi in the modern world. The event was well-received and attended by many, including Vijay Kumar, Jatinder Kumar, Navdeep, and others.
