“Hindi represents nation’s culture, emotions, and aspirations”: Uttarakhand CM Dhami extends wishes on Hindi Diwas
Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], September 13 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday extended wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of ‘Hindi Diwas’ and highlighted that Hindi represents the nation’s culture, emotions, aspirations, and ideals.
The Chief Minister emphasised that a country’s language plays a crucial role in fostering a connection with its culture and traditions.
According to an official release from the Chief Minister’s Office, “In his message issued on this occasion, the Chief Minister has said that Hindi is a symbol of our culture, feelings, aspirations and ideals.”
“The language of any country helps in connecting with its culture and traditions. Hindi is not just a language but also the identity of our civilization and culture. Hindi is also the basis of the unity and integrity of the country. It is also a continuous ritual that makes us aware of our traditions and our heritage,” said CM Dhami.
The Chief Minister said that our ideological loyalty has been towards Hindi, adding that it is the responsibility of all of us to maintain the pride of Hindi.
“When we all work together for the development of Hindi, the language will receive respect. Hindi is one of the most popular languages not only in India but in the world. Hindi as a language also acts as a bridge between the people of India. The Hindi language also has the power to create harmony with the different languages of the country,” added CM Dhami.
Appealing to all to cooperate for the pride and honor of the official language Hindi, the Chief Minister said that on Hindi Day we will have to pledge to use Hindi as much as possible in our daily lives.
Earlier in the day, CM Dhami participated in the Yuva Dharma Sansad program.
The Chief Minister heartily welcomed and congratulated all the dignitaries and youth power who reached the fourth Yuva Dharma Sansad organised by Seva Sansthanam on this occasion.
CM Dhami said that this program organised on the basis of the address given by Swami Vivekananda ji in Chicago, United States, on September 11, 1893, will definitely inspire the youth power of the country to contribute to nation-building as this parliament works to build loyal and aware citizens.
The Chief Minister said that today’s youth is responsible towards the country and also duty-bound. This Dharma Sansad will prove to be a milestone in the creation of a developed nation.
He said that no nation can develop economically, socially, politically and culturally until the youth power there is organised, self-reliant and inspired by the spirit of nationalism.
