Hon’ble President of India launches ‘Ayushman Bhava’ initiative virtually

Leh, Sept. 13, 2023: The virtual launch of ‘Ayushman Bhava’ by Hon’ble President Draupadi Murmu was witnessed by Naib Tehsildar Chuchot, Sarpanch Chuchot Shamma, Nambardar Chuchot Shamma, Member Women’s Alliance Chuchot, and a multitude of dedicated individuals.

Among the attendees were the staff of HWC PHC, Medical Officer ICDS, Block Medical Officer, local residents, and ASHAs, all of whom joined in celebrating this significant healthcare initiative.

Naib Tehsildar, Attaullah addressed the gathering, shedding light on the vital task of including individuals who are not accounted for in the census. He assured the attendees of plans to organise a camp in collaboration with the health department to rectify this issue.

Block Medical Officer, Dr. Rinchen provided an insightful briefing on ‘Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0,’ emphasizing the significance of the Ayushman Health Mela and Ayushman Sabha in reaching out to communities and delivering essential healthcare services.

All participants and PRIs expressed their commitment to supporting and cooperating with the Ayushman Bhava initiative.

The event concluded with the National Anthem, symbolizing the unity and commitment of all present towards the cause of healthcare accessibility and inclusivity.
