Hundreds Join BJP from Nowshera and Kalakote-Sunderbani Constituencies
JAMMU AUGUST 22 : In a significant show of support, Sanam Raina and Kuldeep Manhas, prominent social activists from Nowshera and Sunderbani, along with hundreds of people from the Nowshera and Kalakote-Sunderbani constituencies, officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters in Jammu.
Ravinder Raina, President of the J&K BJP, warmly welcomed Sanam Raina and Kuldeep Manhas into the party fold and congratulated they on their decision to join the BJP. He recalled a key issue highlighted by Sanam Raina regarding the construction of a bridge from Bareri to Hunjana Thakra and informed that ₹10 crores have been sanctioned for the bridge, with work currently underway.
J&K BJP SC Morcha President Neelam Langeh was also present on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina, on the occasion, also added that the BJP has not discriminated against any community, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Government works with the slogan of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.” He credited the BJP government for the construction of bunkers in the Nowshera area and noted that while previous NC and Congress governments failed to build a bridge over the drain between Raipur Bata and Qila Darhal, the BJP government has fulfilled this long-standing demand, and construction is now in progress.
Raina further remarked that if anyone has truly respected Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, it is Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. He criticized the INC for not installing Dr. Ambedkar’s picture in Parliament, noting that it was Atal Bihari Vajpayee who ultimately ensured its installation. He also highlighted that it was Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji who fully implemented the Indian Constitution in Jammu and Kashmir.
The new entrant thanked the party President for the warm welcome in the party and said that the people are influenced by the development, peace, and progress in Jammu & Kashmir.
