Hyderabad: Five people arrested for performing stunt on bike
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], August 20 (ANI): Five people have been arrested for allegedly performing bike stunts wearing burkha in Telangana’s Hyderabad on Tuesday, said police.
In Hyderabad’s old city areas, a group of young individuals wore burkhas and performed stunts, filming their actions for a social media video, said police, adding that a case has been registered into the matter.
“We arrested five individuals. A group of youngsters in the old city area of Hyderabad wore burkhas while riding a bike, performing stunts, and driving rashly, and made reels for social media. The video was created on August, 15. It got posted online yesterday, after which it came to our attention. We subsequently registered a case under sections related to nuisance, dangerous driving, and other applicable sections,” said Venkat Ramaiah, inspector of IS Sadan Police Police station.
Further investigation into the matter is underway. More details are awaited.
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh police impounded a motorcycle of a Blogger/YouTuber in the Gautampalli area for allegedly performing stunts, said the police.
The blogger was seen performing stunts for Instagram reels on his motorcycle.
Responding to the stunts performed by the blogger, Gautampalli Inspector Sudhir Kumar said, “…Your parents may not be worried for you but we Police personnel are. We want you to be safe. So, this vehicle will be seized…”.
