Independence Day arrangements discussed at Ramnagar

RAMNAGAR, August 01: To discuss the arrangements for the smooth celebration of forthcoming Independence Day function 2023 at Sub Division Headquarter Ramnagar, the Sub Divisional Magistrate,   Shishir Gupta today convened a meeting of Sub Divisional/Tehsil level officers of different department here in his office chamber.

Tehsildar, Srinath Suman; Executive Engineer, PMGSY, Satish Bhagat; Principal Model Higher Secondary School, Paramjeet Singh; AEEs of different Engineering wings, BMO, Ramnagar and other officers attended the meeting.

Detailed deliberations were held on seating arrangement, barricading, security, water and power supply, sanitation, first aid, PAS and fire tenders etc.

It was decided in the meeting that the main function would be held in Government Model Higher Secondary School, where the VIP would unfurl the National Flag.

The SDM directed the AEE, PWD, PHE and Forest for barricading and drinking water arrangements, besides uninterrupted power supply at the function venue. The Executive Officer, Municipality was asked to maintain cleanliness in the town as well as at the venue. Regarding First aid arrangements, the Block Medical Officer was directed to ensure the deployment of one ambulance along with a team of Doctors and necessary medicines till the conclusion of National function.

A Colorful cultural program would also be presented by the government as well as private educational institutions on the occasion of Independence Day, 2023.

Different committees were also constituted for the successful celebration of the National function. He also convened a meeting regarding Meri Maati- Meara Desh Mitti Ko Naman, Verron Ko Vandan. The meeting was informed that the programme is scheduled to commence from 9th of August, 2023 and culminated on 30th August, 2023.
