ICT intervention training for School Heads concludes
LEH, December 23: One-day ICT Intervention training for the Head of the Institutes and Nodal Officers of Middle/High/Higher Secondary Schools of different zones of Leh district (Leh, Khaltse, Nimmo, Durbuk and Kharu) w.e.f. 19/12/2022 to 21/12/2022 organised by the School Education Department, UT Ladakh at ICT Lab of Govt. Middle School Leh, concluded today.
In this training, the Nodal Officers/HOIs were apprised about the proper use of ICT and Digital Panel/Smart Board in schools to make the students aware about different digital initiatives like Diksha, e-Pathsala, Nishtha, Swayam, etc. promoted by Ministry of School Education. Further, the officials were made aware about programming fundamentals.
The training was conducted under the guidance of Masood Ahmad, ICT Coordinator, along with the resource persons Thinles Angmo, Computer Lecturer; Mohd. Hassan, ICT Trainer and Tawseef Ahmad, IT Trainer.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Safdar Ali, Director of School Education, highlighted the need for ICT intervention to supplement the traditional mode of teaching learning process. He stressed the need for the proper usage/implementation of the infrastructure provided under ICT Intervention.
S.D. Namgail, Chief Education Officer, Leh thanked all the resource persons/ organizers for organising the much needed and effective training and urged all the HOIs/ ICT In-charge to use the ICT infrastructure and implement at school level.
