IIT Jammu unveils Abrasive Water Jet Machine at Jagti

JAMMU, 7 June 2-23: IIT Jammu unveiled State-of-the-Art Abrasive Water Jet Machine at Jagti on Wednesday.

The machine caters to a multitude of industries and materials, it is set to foster innovation, research, and development within the institute and the larger community.

The JetCut 16F-31, an exemplary outcome of the Make in India initiative, reigns as the star of this newly established facility. With its remarkable capability to fabricate any intricate profile on materials up to 200 mm thickness.

This innovative technology not only aligns with the institute’s commitment to excellence but also positions IIT Jammu as a pioneering institution at the forefront of industrial advancement.
