Illicit timber worth lakhs seized by Budgam Police

Budgam Jan 14: In a significant operation, Budgam Police seized a substantial quantity of illicit timber worth lakhs of rupees. The breakthrough came following information received by the Police Station Budgam from reliable sources. The tip indicated that Reyaz Ahmad Itoo, son of Abdul Karim Itoo and resident of Atipora Sholipora, had illegally acquired and stored timber at his residence.

A case has been registered in the regard under the relevant section and further details are awaited.
