Independence Day: DC & SSP Baramulla visit Martyr’s residence
BARAMULLA, AUGUST 05: In a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s heroes, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla, Amid Ashok Nagpure visited the residence of JKP Constable Rajindra Singh Bali at Khawjabagh Baramulla, who was martyred during an encounter in 1999 at Srinagar.
Remembering martyrs, on the occasion of Independence Day, underscores the district administration’s commitment to honoring the sacrifices of brave soldiers who laid their lives in the service of the nation.
During the visit, the officers met with the family of the late Rajindra Singh Bali, offering their respects and support.
The DC expressed his profound gratitude for the sacrifice made by Rajindra Singh Bali, stating, “Our freedom and peace are owed to the bravery and sacrifices of our soldiers. It is our duty to remember and honor them.”
SSP also highlighted the importance of acknowledging the families of martyrs, saying, “The families of our martyrs deserve our utmost respect and support. Their sacrifice is a testament to the spirit of patriotism and courage.”
