India and China engage in constructive Military talks on Eastern Ladakh

In a significant development aimed at defusing tensions along the border, India and China engaged in a round of high-level military talks focused on the eastern Ladakh region. Both sides exchanged views in an open and forward-looking manner, displaying a commitment to finding peaceful resolutions to the outstanding issues that have lingered in the area.

The talks, held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and professionalism, saw representatives from both nations engaging in candid discussions to address the remaining points of contention in an expeditious manner.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India following the talks, expressed optimism about the outcome of the discussions. “The two sides agreed to resolve the remaining issues in an expeditious manner, demonstrating their shared commitment to maintaining the positive trajectory of the ongoing dialogue,” the MEA stated.
