Indian Army, J&K Police thwart infiltration attempt in Uri sector
In a swift joint operation, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police foiled an infiltration bid by terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Uri sector early this morning.
According to army sources, troops established contact with the infiltrators in the Sabura Nala area during the pre-dawn hours. A firefight ensued, and the operation is ongoing.
