Inspection cum Training on Daily Expenditure Register of Contesting Candidates held at Kulgam

KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 03: Inspection cum training session for maintaining the daily expenditure register of contesting candidates, along with the shadow observation register, was conducted today by the Expenditure Observer of Kulgam district, Dasari Balaiah.

Nodal Officer for Election Expenditure Monitoring, Mohd Iqbal Pedhar, Assistant Electoral Officers (AEOs), accounting teams, Video Viewing Teams (VVTs), and agents of contesting candidates from the Kulgam, D.H. Pora, and Devsar constituencies attended the session which was held here at Mini-Secretariat Kulgam.

During the session, officers and agents of the contesting candidates were breifed on the distinction between legal and illegal expenditures.

Participants were also sensitized on how to accurately file information in the prescribed formats.

The participants were encouraged to maintain accurate and up-to-date records and to comply with all guidelines set forth by the Election Commission.

The training session emphasized the importance of adhering to these guidelines to uphold the integrity of the election process.
