Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization Programme held at CHC Khaltse

Leh, Mar 3, 2024: The Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) programme held at Community Health Center (CHC) Khaltse, today on March 3.

Nambardar Khaltse, Stanzin Phurboo inaugurated the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization programme as a chief guest whereas Women Alliance President Khaltse, Tsering Tsomo was present as the guest of honor.

Besides, Nambardar Khaltse along with Women Alliance President Khaltse flagged off the mobile teams which were sent to various parts of the sub- division to ensure no child is left without anti-polio drops.

Block Medical Officer (BMO) Khaltse, Dr. Yangchen Dolma informed that 68 Polio booth with 11 Supervisors was set up in the Sub Division in which a total of 1412  children in the age group of 0-5 age were administered polio drops.

Child Specialist, Dr. Spalchen Gonboo;  Surgeon, Dr. Feroz Ahmad; ASHA Khaltse and paramedical staff of Community Health Center, Khaltse were present during the occasion.
