Intensive training sessions on EVM, VVPAT handling continues at Doda on 2nd day
DODA, MARCH 24: Second day of training for polling staff in district Doda witnessed intensive sessions held in two shifts across three distinct venues at Community Hall in Doda, Bhaderwah and Government Degree College Kilhotran (Gandoh).
2700 trainers actively participated in these training sessions. The training encompassed wide spectrum of topics aimed at equipping the polling staff with necessary skills to handle Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) devices effectively.
The training sessions saw the active involvement of Assistant Returning Officers (AROs), nodal officers from Doda, Bhaderwah, and Kilhotran, as well as Tehsildars and other officials.
Expert guidance was provided by Master Trainers, including District Level Master Trainers (DLMTs) and Assistant Level Master Trainers (ALMTs), ensuring the comprehensive skill development of the polling staff.
Through meticulous training sessions and diligent supervision, the polling staff in Doda are better prepared to handle EVMs and VVPATs during the forthcoming elections.
