Interactive Session under SVEEP held at GHS Onagam Bandipora

BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 17: In an effort to boost voter engagement for the upcoming Assembly Elections 2024, an interactive session was today held at Government High School Onagam, Bandipora.


The event, as part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative, was led by RO 15 – Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad Wani, along with Nodal Officer for Manpower and Trainings, Dr. G. M. Pujoo.


The interactive session targeted young voters, female voters, civil society members, and students, emphasizing the importance of participating in elections.
The programme aimed to mobilize the community towards a more robust democratic process.


Speaking on the occasion, RO 15 – Bandipora underscored the crucial role of voter participation and highlighted the ongoing voter sanitization programmes, encouraging widespread involvement to strengthen democracy.


Students were highlighted as key influencers in spreading the message about the power of voting to enhance voter turnout for the Assembly Elections 2024, ensuring a more representative and vibrant democratic process.
