“Investment, industrial growth in state will enhance employment and trade”: MP CM Yadav during meeting with industrialists
Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 16 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday held a meeting with industrialists of four districts in Chhindwara district for ensuring the success of the upcoming Regional Industry Conclave scheduled for July 20 in Jabalpur.
Industrialists from Seoni, Balaghat, Pandhurna districts attended the meeting virtually. Regional Industry Conclaves are being organised as a pre-event of the “Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025”. GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year.
During the meeting CM Yadav said, “Investment and industrial development in the state will significantly boost employment and trade. To support this, the Regional Industry Conclaves are being organised in the state. The government aims for balanced development across all regions in the state by connecting local entrepreneurs with those from outside. This initiative seeks to achieve new milestones in agriculture, employment, trade, tourism, and other sectors.”
Despite the challenges, the CM urged everyone to move forward with a positive mindset and resolve issues collaboratively.
CM Yadav also emphasised that if small, medium, and large entrepreneurs work closely with the government, a new wave of development can emerge. Previously, industry summits were held only in Indore, but now they would take place in other parts of the state as well, addressing local industrial challenges.
He encouraged industry associations and industrialists to promote investment, assuring them of support according to the industrial policy. The CM also highlighted the importance of encouraging investment to achieve the goal of doubling the state’s GDP in the next five years.
The Chief Minister further stressed the importance of focusing industrial investments on activities that generate employment and process local products. Regarding subsidies for establishing industries, he urged resolving challenges between buyers and sellers to foster progress in industry and trade.
CM Yadav underscored the significance of prioritising local considerations in all these initiatives, advocating for the local utilisation of raw materials and increasing employment opportunities.
The Chief Minister instructed all district collectors to address the challenges faced by industry and trade associations promptly, aiming to encourage investment and support small-scale industries for their enhancement.
He highlighted ongoing efforts to promote the dairy industry and directed officials to actively explore industrial opportunities within districts and divisions, ensuring effective implementation.
