Is Ark Crossplay Between PC, Xbox, PS, Switch?

Set on a different planet with coincidentally very Earth-like dinosaurs, you find yourself cast into this hazardous world teeming with threats. Because Ark: Survival Evolved is a persistent online game, it’s only a matter of time before other human players come into the picture.
They can be your best friend, or ruin you and your family. You’d do well to bring your own friends to help you survive and make a team like you would in other games such as Rust. Ark’s available on almost every platform, but how crossplay-friendly is it for you all? Ark has changed to become a cross-platform game.

Is Ark cross-platform?
Yes, Ark supports crossplay but partially. At present, the crossplay feature in Ark Survival Evolved is enabled only between Xbox and PC, and that too only if the PC players download the game from the Microsoft Store. It does not support crossplay with Steam or Epic Version on PC.
Other than that no other consoles are crossplay enabled. At present, the Ark Survival Evolved is available to play on these platforms:
- Linux
- macOS
- PlayStation 4
- Windows
- Xbox One
- Android
- iOS
- Nintendo Switch
- Stadia
Due to restricted crossplay availability, only PC players playing through Microsoft downloads of the game can play together with Xbox One consoles.
Other players for example PS4, or Nintendo Switch players have to be on the same platform to be able to play together with friends.
Is Ark: Survival Evolved Cross Platform Xbox and PS4?
Unfortunately, there’s no crossplay support between Xbox and PS4 in Ark: Survival Evolved. This means that PS4 players and Xbox players cannot play the game together in a single match. They have to be on the same platforms to play the game together.

Is Ark: Survival Evolved On PS5?
Although, Ark: Survival Evolved is not available on PS5. But the remastered version of Ark Survival Evolved, Ark: Survival Ascended is available to play on PS5.
