Is Civ 6 Crossplay?

Unfortunately, Civ 6 does not support crossplay across platforms. This means that players playing across different platforms cannot play together as a team in a single game session. Players have to be on the same platform to play together. 

At present Civ 6 is available on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Android. Since there is no crossplay availability in the game, players are not allowed to play together with each other on any of these platforms.

In short, if you are playing Civ 6 on Xbox One, and your friend is on PS4, then you can’t play together. You both have to be on the same platform to play together.
